Fuel for cars
Its simple: Cars need fuel. While its a lot of fun to drive around in car, I still feel that you should need to refuel them once in a while. Not too often of course, because that wouldn't be fun.

-RP
-Adds variation
-Makes powerful tools like cars (they can be used to kill and are almost perfect protection) a little harder to use
-More fun, for some people
Bad points
-Some may not like it, but those people are probably unRPish and shouldn't be on an RP server anyways
-Implementation
-Expensive for cars (though this could be good, if you like it to be RP)
In my mind, there are two ways of doing this:
Option 1: Entities menu As in, just buy it from the F4 menu
Good points
-Easier to implement than option 2
-Easy to get fuel, can be gotten from inside car
Bad points
-Very unrealistic, which makes it unRP
-Boring
-People can basically drive forever
Option 2: Fueling stations Which also allows for a new job: Fuel selling
How it works
-A person builds a fuel station and becomes a fuel salesman, the pumps are built. They should be easy to use with the gravity gun: Every second the pump hose is touching the car, a little more fuel is added

-A little difficulty with the transaction, but people will most likely just say "I'll give you 100 if you fill my tank". After all, you don't need to buy 1litre of fuel when you have 39 left, do you?
-Requires 2 people, although if theres no fuel salesman, I guess the server would automatically have to revert to option 2, or require that someone become a fuel salesman.
So.. What do you think?

sounds like a good idea to me. Though if people are paying for fuel the car prices may have to be droped. It would also be nice to see a 'petrol attendant' class. I can imagine some really cool petrol stations being built.

Petrol attendant, fuel salesman, whatever you wish to call it
And aye, gas stations would most likely look great. You'd need a garage, and everything. Maybe if this works out we can make it so that cars take damage over time, and need to go into garages, which would work like jails, except that your money goes towards the owner slowly as your car is fixed, and it can be withdrawn at any time.
